Georgi Trendafiloff

His music education started at the age of five. Two years later he was admitted to “Lubomir Pipkov” Music School in Sofia meanwhile he studied with prof. Yovcho Krushev at “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” National Academy of Music in Sofia. In 1992, thanks to a scholarship offered by “Sintofarm” s.p.a., he moved to Italy where, from 1993 to 1997, he studied with Riccardo Risaliti at “G. Verdi” Music Conservatory in Milan graduating with full marks . Later Georgi Trendafiloff has followed the post - graduate courses at “Santa Cecilia” National Academy in Rome with Sergio Perticaroli and at “G. Verdi” Music Conservatory in Milan with Vincenzo Balzani . He has also studied composition at “G. Verdi” Music Conservatory in Milan with Bruno Zanolini . In 2008 he got with honors the master’s degree from “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” National Academy of Music in Sofia. He also attended courses and master classes held by Alexander Lonquich , Fou’ Ts ong , William G. Naboré , Dimitri Bashkirov and Leon Fleisher at The International Piano Academy Lake Como . He has been piano teacher at “Milan Music School” , the oldest private music institution in Italy. More recently he has been Professor of piano at “N. Paganini” Music Conservatory in Genoa and “Giacomo Puccini I.S.S.M.” Music Conservatory in Gallarate ( Italy ). For his achievements he has been awarded prestigious prizes in many international competitions and has performed for leading Concert Associations all over the world. He often serves as member of juries of international competitions.
